- What’s your comic about?
Well, if you’re first-time visitor. I suppose I could explain it here but I think it would be better to pass you over to the Comic Guide, which contains a goodly amount of information on what Silent Shadow is about and maybe give you a better idea of the universe.
- What kind of numbering scheme do you use for your comics?
Well, its actually quite easy. The first number is the issue number, the second number is the chapter number and the last number is the page number. ex: Issue 1.2.13 is basically Issue 1, Chapter 2, Page 13 (the page number is the page number of the issue overall).
- When do you update?
Very irregularly. I used to update every couple of weeks but that never quite worked out for me.
- What programs do you use?
Poser Pro (character posing, lighting, rendering), and then Photoshop for compositing and text-layout. I used to use Illustrator—and still do when the situation demands it—I have found that its much easier to do all of my text layout in Photoshop since all of the tools necessary are just as easily available to me in Photoshop.
- Are you a 3D modeler?
Except for a few small items (props, clothing, etc), not really. I don’t have the time it takes to build really good 3D models, due to school and life in general, and I’ve found that I can just easily buy what I need as opposed to just building it myself. Why reinvent the wheel?
- I really like your work! Do you mind if I do some fanart of your characters? Or write fanfiction?
Hmmm…not really but within certain limits. For starters, no yuri or yaoi. Not that I have any problems or anything against yaoi or yuri, its just not how I wrote (or for that matter, see) the characters. Other than that one thing, I really don’t have a problem with fanfics or fanart featuring my characters. At the moment, I don’t have an email address set up to recieve submissions for fanart or -fics but eventually, that’ll be for the future.
