Still here, not dead
But work on Silent Shadow has virtually halted, due to a few reasons. One—the biggest reason—is school. I’m also in the midst of a creative slump, probably because of school. Ironic considering that I am currently attending an art school. A lot of it could be just life in general. In my humble opinion, the comic could be so much more but I really don’t want to start over again, considering that I’ve already started over on the storyline twice.
The thing is, when I started Silent Shadow, I was still practically a kid. That was four years ago and I’ve done quite a bit of growing up since then—the vast majority of it over the last two years. So yes, I’m saying that my outlook has changed from four years ago. Despite that, I don’t want to abandon Silent Shadow. However, I do want to improve it. To improve it, though. That means time and unfortunately, on the run-up to graduation, time is something I don’t have, so it pains me to say this but the break is going to be a lot longer than I anticipated. I do have Page 24 almost ready to be rendered out but instead of getting folks hyped with one page at the start of the final chapter, I’m thinking that I’ll come back to the storyline once I’m finished with school, and hopefully this time I’ll finish Hawk & Wolf by next fall.
