Believe it or not but I have only one page of the new chapter scripted. That is…sad…to say the least. School is keeping me pretty busy at the moment so that is a huge part of the problem right there. I did buy Poser 8 about a month ago but haven’t really used it enough to get a good feel for it. I have used it enough to know that I am going to have to rebuild the shader sets that I created in Poser Pro. Apparently, there is a rather nasty, unknown bug that really seems to only affect the Toon Shade node when it’s used in conjunction with FastScatter. Not many Poser artists other than myself use that particular combination so that’s probably why no one knows about the bug, and to be honest, I haven’t had the time to really chase it down because of school. *sighs* At least Fall Break is in three weeks, so I’ll be able to release the new page by then. Frankly, I want to be able to do more than just one freaking page, though. Well, I’ll just have to think of something, I guess.
And, with that, Silent Shadow’s fourth-year anniversary is coming up. The comic was originally launched on September 17th, 2005. I had to look through my Livejournal posts just to be sure, though. So I’ll try and get some more teaser art up by then, as well as a Halloween piece by the middle of October.
