Why?
Why did I do this? Maybe it was just to shut the nag-screen up. Anyway, I finally upgraded to Wordpress 2.7 and I’m not so sure I’m really feeling this. Don’t get me wrong, 2.7 is fine and all but after having gotten used to the admin interface of 2.5 and 2.6, I’m a little miffed about having to get readjusted once again. Guess a lot of Wordpress users didn’t like the 2.5/6 interface. *shrugs* I didn’t mind it all that much. I think what probably bugs me though is that all of the javascript “bullshitdingies” in the interface are making things like TinyMCE a little slow to respond to typing.
Anyway, I guess I’m going to start working on the script for pages 19 and up after New Year’s. I just finished working on Manga+Press, and I’m looking into doing a companion plugin for Manga+Press; something along the lines of a Cast of Characters/Series Info Wiki-type deal. Might be fun, and keeps my PHP programming skills fresh.
I’m probably going to a slight redesign of the site, maybe followed by a full redesign this spring. I’m bringing back my production notebook for one. I probably never should have let that slide, actually. I’m thinking that the production notebook this time should provide a glimpse of the script and storyboard as well as maybe some of my Photoshop techniques that I’ve hashed out over these last three/four years.
And finally, I think tonight or tomorrow, I’m going to work on a Silent Shadow Christmas one-shot, like the one I did about two years ago. I might throw in some hints about the next series in this one
