Its coming. I got put behind a bit by some rendering problems in Poser Pro. I think I’ve finally found the problem as to why the last panel of Page 9 wasn’t rendering correctly. It had something to do with quality settings and bucket size. Change both, now its rendering like it should. Hopefully, I should have a solid update by next weekend. Enough time to render out the rest of the panels.

Well, at my DeviantArt gallery, I have a new Silent Shadow piece up. Its what I’d like to call a promotional poster for the webcomic. It is also available as a print.

And, as soon as I become un-busy with the current home improvement project that I have going, I will start making some changes to the website. The look needs to be updated, I think. So look for some changes coming up here in the next few weeks.

Well, I would be working on Pages 8 thru 10 except for one problem. The area I live in has been plagued by thunderstorms for most of the day. I can get a few hours of work in, then just as I’m about to start the big renders, another thunderstorm rolls through and I have to power down and unplug everything (don’t trust my surge protectors). So, work will continue either tomorrow (weather permitting) or Friday. I’m on my laptop and its on battery power — and it lacks the computing power necessary to run Poser Pro. I should mention that school is finally done with, so despite the weather, that does mean more free time for not only the webcomic but my much-promised Wordpress plugin as well.

In the next few pages, you’ll also notice a change in Syleth’s appearance. I found a better hair-style for her, courtesy of Renderosity.com (see above—yes, that is Syleth). I also decided that in the next series, Sy gets a new car as well :D. Nevermind just how long this took to render. I think my computer may need a faster processor and more memory.

Well, I dropped Google AdSense. I didn’t like what it did to my layouts and it just seemed rather pointless. So, I’ve decided to try a donation system instead. Basically, I’m unemployed at the moment and this takes money to do (server, bandwidth, domain name, etc.) So, if you really really like the comic, please consider donating. Doesn’t matter how much — every little bit counts. I may be able to work out gifts (of some sort) for people who do donate. Will have to wait and see on that, may involve some brainstorming.

So, an update should be coming sometime soon here. I guess as soon as the weather cooperates by not sending lightning storms through my area every few hours >:|
